Reduced Syllabus by the Board in Class 6 to 12: In order to reduce the learning load on the students by NCERT, in Class-VI to XII some points or entire chapters have been removed as per Rationalized Content in Textbooks and accordingly according to the reduced syllabus NCERT Textbooks from 6th to 12th have been published this year.
St. Some points or entire chapters have been removed as detailed in the sheet included in the textbooks of Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects of 6th to 10th Maths and Science and Class 11th and 12th Science stream. So, if the textbooks of the same subject which have been implemented/printed in the previous year are available with the school teacher or student, then the teacher at the school level can also use the reduced content points or the reduced chapter details in the relevant subject.
Thus, St. 6th to 10th Mathematics and Science and 11th and 12th Science streams should be taught in schools according to the new textbook printed in the current year with a reduced syllabus of Mathematics, Physical Science, Chemistry and Life Science subjects and if the same subject textbooks implemented/printed in the previous year Care should be taken to ensure that the school/teacher or the student, at the school level, is taught in the respective subject keeping in mind reduced content points or reduced chapter details.
