Education Assistance 2024: To provide financial assistance once a year to any two children of a construction worker for the career development of bright and needy construction worker students seeking admission in higher education courses of the state and for the purpose that the child of a construction worker can also become a doctor, engineer.

૯	ધોરણ-૧૨ પછીના ઉચ્ચ શિક્ષણના સ્નાતક કક્ષાના કોર્સીસ એમ.બી.બી.એસ, તથા અનુસ્તાનક કક્ષાના એમ.ડી અને ડેન્ટલ જેવા સરકાર માન્ય સંસ્થા/સ્વ નિર્ભર સંસ્થામાં નિયત થયેલ અભ્યાસક્રમો	(૧) ઓછામાં ઓછા  રૂ.૨૫૦૦૦/- (૨) વધારેમાં વધારે રૂ.૨૦૦૦૦૦/- અથવા ફીના ૧૦૦ ટકાની રકમ
૧૦	ઉચ્ચ શિક્ષણના સ્નાતક કક્ષાના પ્રોફેશનલ કોર્સીસ જેવા કે, ફાર્મસી, એગ્રીકલ્ચર, આયુર્વેદ, હોમીયોપેથી, નર્સીગ, ફીઝીયોથેરાપી, પેરા-મેડીકલ જેવા સરકાર માન્ય સંસ્થા/સ્વ નિર્ભર સંસ્થામાં નિયત થયેલ અભ્યાસક્રમો.	(૧) ઓછામાં ઓછા  રૂ.૨૫૦૦૦/- (૨) વધારેમાં વધારે રૂ.૫૦૦૦૦/- અથવા ફીના ૧૦૦ ટકાની રકમ
૧૧	ઉચ્ચ શિક્ષણના સ્નાતક કક્ષાના પ્રોફેશનલ કોર્સીસ જેવા કે, ઈજનેરી/ટેકનોલોજી, આર્કીટેકચર, જેવા સરકાર માન્ય સંસ્થા/સ્વ નિર્ભર સંસ્થામાં નિયત થયેલ અભ્યાસક્રમો.	(૧) ઓછામાં ઓછા  રૂ.૨૫૦૦૦/- (૨) વધારેમાં વધારે રૂ.૫૦૦૦૦/- અથવા ફીના ૧૦૦ ટકાની રકમ

Hostel Assistance:

1,200/- per month as board and food assistance for 10 months of the year to children studying outside the taluk of their current residence and not admitted in government/subsidized hostels after getting admission in courses like Bachelor’s, Engineering Medical etc. The amount which is less will be payable.

Book Help:

• Eligible aid to first year Diploma admission students is Rs. 3000/-
• Courses like Engineering/Technology, Pharmacy, Architecture, Agriculture, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Para-Medical, Veterinary Rs. 5000/-
• Graduation like Medical and Dental Rs. 10000/-

Education Assistance Scheme 2024 Required Documents :

• Original Bornafide Certificate of Ongoing Course of Beneficiary from School/College/Institute Click Here.
• Passport size photographs of beneficiary and child.
• Copy of child’s Aadhaar card.
• Copy of child’s previous year result.
• Access to payment of fees.
• Obtaining signature/coined certificate of the registered hostel/school/college/institute if the beneficiary is studying in a hostel.
• Access to hostel fee payment.

Eligibility for Benefit: Education Assistance Scheme 2024 to any two children of a registered construction worker once in a year

Terms and Conditions:

• The registered construction worker has to apply in the prescribed format and within the prescribed time limit. The application must be received and submitted within a time limit of 6 (six) months from the date of commencement of the academic session.
• If two children are supported by the same beneficiary, separate forms have to be filled for both the children. (Online/Offline)
• Age limit for children of construction laborer to get scholarship should be maximum 30 years. If the son or daughter is handicapped or disabled then there will be no age limit.

Procedure:

• Application through the online Samman portal by the applicant to the district office.
• If the application is made offline by the applicant, it will have to be submitted online by the District Project Manager.
• The application will have to be verified and approved by the District Inspector.
• It will be sent to State Project Manager of Head Office for approval.
• The State Project Manager Mr. has to verify the application and send it to the Government Labor Officer Mr.
• The application has to be approved by the Government Labor Officer and sent to the Member Secretary.
• After approval of the application, the amount of assistance will be paid through DBT to the bank account provided by the beneficiary by making a postal order by the accounting officer.
