Eligibility

Nationality / Citizenship: Indian citizen or certain specified categories (Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees before 1962, persons of Indian origin from listed countries) with certificate of eligibility where applicable.

Age: Minimum 20 years, Maximum 30 years as on cut-off (with relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen etc. — see notification). Cut-off for age determination: 01.07.2025.

Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute. Candidates must possess valid mark-sheet/degree on the day of registration and indicate percentage obtained at registration.

Experience: Minimum one year post-qualification experience in Clerical/Officer cadre of a Scheduled Commercial Bank / Regional Rural Bank (as per RBI Second Schedule). Proof of experience in prescribed format required.

Local Language: Proficiency in the specified local language (reading, writing & speaking) of the State applied for is mandatory. If local language was not studied at 10th/12th level, candidate must appear in a qualifying LLPT.

Age Relaxation (summary)

  • SC / ST: +5 years
  • OBC (NCL): +3 years
  • PwBD: +10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: +5 years (as per Govt rules)

Selection Procedure (Stages & Exam Pattern)

Selection may include up to four phases:

  1. Online Written Test (mandatory where required) — objective MCQ exam.
  2. Screening (document verification after written test).
  3. Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) — qualifying; tests reading, writing & speaking (exemptions if local language studied in 10th/12th with proof).
  4. Personal Interview — 50 marks, with minimum qualifying marks (45% for SC/ST; 50% for others). Final merit is based on aggregate of Online Written Test + Interview (subject to LLPT qualification).

Online Test structure (marks & time):

  • Reasoning & Computer Aptitude — 25 Q — 25 marks — 35 min
  • Data Analysis & Interpretation — 25 Q — 25 marks — 35 min
  • English Language — 25 Q — 25 marks — 25 min
  • Quantitative Aptitude — 25 Q — 25 marks — 35 min
  • General / Economy / Banking Awareness — 50 Q — 50 marks — 50 min

Negative marking: ¼ mark deducted for each wrong answer. Minimum sectional qualifying marks apply (40% for General/EWS; 35% for Reserved categories) — Bank may revise criteria at its discretion.

Salary / Allowances

Scale as per JMGS-I (see Job Overview). In addition to basic pay, selected candidates are eligible for DA, CCA, HRA / leased accommodation, leave fare concession, medical insurance, retirement benefits and other perquisites as per Bank rules.

Application Fee (Non-Refundable)

  • SC / ST / PwBD: Rs. 50 + GST @18% = Rs. 59 (only postage charges).
  • All others: Rs. 1000 + GST @18% = Rs. 1180.

Bank transaction charges (if any) borne by the candidate. Fee paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Important Dates

  • Tentative Online Test: December 2025 / January 2026 (exact dates will be notified via call letters).

  2. Click “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” and complete provisional registration. Note down Registration No. & Password.
  3. Fill the online application (one application only — you may save & edit until final submit). Upload scanned photo, signature, left-thumb impression, handwritten declaration, educational & experience documents as per prescribed specs.
  4. Pay application fee online using Debit/Credit Card/Netbanking/UPI etc. (keep e-receipt).
  5. Take printout of submitted application and e-receipt. Do not send printouts to Bank.
