Candidates must pay an application fee during the online registration process to complete the SSC CGL 2024 application process.
- General and OBC candidates: ₹100
- Women candidates, SC/ST/ESM/PWD candidates: ₹100 (exempted from payment of fee)

- Tier 1- Computer-based test
- Tier 2- Computer-based test
- Tier 2 includes 3 papers i.e. Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III further in separate shifts on separate days.
- The Data Entry Speed Test has been included in Paper III for 15 minutes in Module II as a Data Entry Task.
