Government of India has implemented Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana” (PMBSY) and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) at a very modest premium. When is the PMBSY scheme premium payable?

The annual premium of Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana has to be paid into the premium bank and post account on 31 May. Or auto-renewal is done if the premium has been paid earlier. If your bank balance is not there at the end of May, the policy gets cancelled.

Who can benefit from PMBSY scheme?

1. People in the age group of 18 to 70 years are eligible to benefit from this scheme.

4. Insurance premium will be deducted from the bank or post account for this insurance scheme till 31st May. For which it is necessary to have a minimum balance in the bank account.
5. The annual premium of this plan is only Rs 12.
6. Aadhaar card should be linked with bank and post account. And the account must be active.
