Gujarat Unreserved Educational and Economic Development Corporation (GUEEDC) works to understand and alleviate the sufferings of unreserved classes. Recommends to the Government to understand the problems of unreserved class and solve them. After studying various schemes related to social welfare, it recommends welfare schemes for non-reserved (Bin Anamat) classes. Various welfare schemes are run by the Unreserved Class Commission such as Educational Study Scheme Loan, Meal Bill Assistance, Coaching Assistance (Tuition Assistance), Training Assistance for Competitive Exams and Study Abroad Loan etc.

After Class-XII only for M.B.B.S, Graduation (even if degree after Diploma is valid) Post Graduate as well as Post Graduation Diploma or equivalent course known by other name for non-reserved category students for higher studies abroad Total Rs. 15.00 lakhs will be provided by the Foreign Study Loan Corporation.
Foreign Education Loan Yojana Eligibility
- For MBBS after Class – 12th, recognized courses even if degree is obtained after graduation and diploma
- For Master Course as well as Post Graduation Diploma or similar course known as
- Loans are available up to a total limit of Rs 15 lakh for any type of higher studies abroad like research, technical, paramedical, professional etc.
- Those who have 60 ℅ or more in class-12 can benefit from this scheme.
- Those whose annual family income is less than Rs 6,00,000 (six lakhs) are eligible.
Benefit under Videsh Loan Assistance Scheme

Guarantees/Documents for Study Abroad Loans
- The total loan amount for the entire course is Rs. For loans of 7.50 lakhs or less, an encumbrance of one and a half times the value of
- the loan amount shall be registered on the beneficiary’s own or a relative’s property.
- The total loan amount for the entire course is Rs. 7.50 lakhs in excess of that total amount shall be mortgaged in favor of the
- Immovable Property Corporation of himself or any other relative.
- Each borrower shall furnish five post-dated checks signed in favor of the Corporation
Repayment of Study Abroad Loans
- Rs. In case of total loan up to 5 lakhs, it has to be paid in equal monthly installments in 5 (five) years after 1 year of completion of studies.
- Rs. In case of loan of more than 5 lakhs, it has to be paid in equal monthly installments in 6 (six) years after 1 year of completion of studies.
- The repayable loan money will be credited first with interest.
- The borrower can repay the loan even before the fixed time limit

- To take an unreserved study abroad loan, the applicant student has to fill the online form before going abroad. After filling the online form, the necessary documents have to be uploaded on the website.
