How to apply for PAN card? | How To Apply For Pan Card Online – Step By Step Process
STEP 1: First you have to go to NSDL website. You will see two options which are Apply Online and Registered User. If you make a new application then click on Apply Online and if you have registered once and got the Token number then you click on Registered User and login.
STEP 2: After clicking on the link you have to fill the application form.
In Application Type you have to select what is applicable. And what is applicable in the category has to be selected. If you are applying for pan card for one person then select Individual.
STEP 3: After filling the Application Form you will get a Token number which you have to save and keep through which you can further login by clicking on Registered User as shown in Step 1 and login again. Then click Continue With Application Form.
STEP 4: Now you can create PAN CARD in three ways here. You have to select how you want to apply for PAN card.
1) Submit Digitally Through E-Kyc and E-sign
If you select this option then you don’t need to upload any document.
But you need to have mobile number link with Aadhaar card. And you will find the same details and photo in the Aadhaar card in the PAN card.
2) Submit Scan Images Through E-sign
By selecting this option you have to upload passport size photo, signature and any document for proof.
3) Forward Application Documents Physically
In this process you have to fill the form and you have to print the form and take the documents with you and go to the nearest center and submit the form.

Then you have to fill your personal details.
STEP 5: Then you have to fill Contact and Other Details which will contain address and contact details.
STEP 6: Here you have to type AO CODE
If you don’t know AO Code, you can do it by selecting State and city. In which you have to select the option that comes within the applicable area and earnings.
STEP 7: Now you have completed the online process of PAN card here, then you have to confirm details, for that you have to enter the first 8 digits of Aadhaar card.
And to confirm the details, the option of Edit and Confirm will come below. If you have to check the details, if there is any error then you can edit otherwise click on Confirm.
STEP 8: After confirming the details you have to make PAYMENT. Which you can pay through Demand Draft, Paytm and UPI or Net Banking.
Fees for PAN card online is Rs 106.90.
STEP 9: After PAYMENT you have to click on Authenticate for Aadhaar Card and OTP will be sent to the mobile number in your Aadhaar Card.
STEP 10: After entering the OTP click on Continue With eSign.
Here you have to enter Aadhaar card number which again OTP will come in your Aadhaar register mobile. And after clicking on CONFIRM, the online application process for your PAN card will be completed here.
Then click Continue With Application Form.
